Section 02-007  Appointment of Principals
Principals of all USD 263 attendance centers shall be appointed annually in February, subject to the recommendation of the Superintendent and approval by the Board of Education.  Principals' contracts shall be on a 10 1/2 months basis, with each subsequent term beginning annually in August.  Principals' contracts shall be negotiated annually.  Principals shall receive for their services such compensation as the Board may allow, with both the time of determination of the compensation and the amount of compensation to be subject to the discretion of the Board of Education.  Principals shall be in charge of their respective buildings, and shall be directly responsible to the Superintendent of Schools.  Duties of the Principals shall be hereinafter described.
