Section 04-008  Functions of Committees
All Board committees shall be appointed on a temporary basis only, and all such committee appointments shall be made by a majority vote of the Board.  These committees shall be appointed for specific tasks, such as seeking information or investigations, and shall report back to the Board for its consideration and action.  Committee action shall be advisory, and shall not be executive.  The Superintendent shall be eligible to serve in an advisory capacity on all committees.  A special committee shall be considered dissolved as soon as its report has been accepted by the Board.
