Section 04-010  Board Meeting Agendas
The Superintendent shall prepare an agenda for each regular meeting of the Board and each member of the Board of Education shall receive a copy of such agenda at least two days before the meeting.  Any member of the Board may place an item on the agenda.  

Patrons may request items be placed on the agenda by submitting the request in the following manner:

1.                  The request must be in writing and on the form provided by the district and must be presented at least seven days prior to the meeting unless waived by the superintendent.

2.                  All pertinent information must be provided as to the need for the item to be considered.

3.                  Information shall be presented to the Superintendent or to his/her designee for review and consultation. The Superintendent and or designee will review the request and may require a conversation with the patron to clarify information and intent.

4.                  The Board of Education President and the Superintendent shall decide the merit of the request and make the decision whether to allow or not as an agenda item. Disposition of the decision will be given to the patron in writing.

5.                  The patron submitting the request must present the information to the Board during the formal meeting. No other person or persons may present on behalf of the patron initiating the request.
