Section 05-029  Curriculum Improvement
It shall be the responsibility of the Assistant Superintendent to (1) coordinate all formal efforts of the professional staff in projects of curriculum improvement, (2) guide development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and instructional services, (3) keep abreast of developments in curriculum and instruction, and furnish leadership in determining their appropriateness for inclusion in the district educational program, (4) play a significant leadership role in curriculum planning and inservice education for the professional staff, and
(5) interpret the curriculum and its philosophy to the BOE, the administration, the staff and the general public.
