Section 06-058  Election
Assistant Principals shall be appointed annually in February, subject to the recommendation of the Principal of the attendance center in which the Assistant Principal serves, the recommendation of the Superintendent, and approval by the Board of Education.  Assistant Principals shall be contracted on a 10 1/2 months basis, as recommended by the Superintendent and approved by the Board of Education, with each subsequent term beginning annually in August.  Assistant Principals' contracts shall be negotiated annually.  Assistant Principals shall receive for their services such compensation as the Board may allow, with both the time of determination of the compensation and the amount of compensation to be subject to the discretion of the Board of Education.
