07-004 Election
Teachers'
contracts shall annually come up for consideration at the regular Board of
Education meeting in March. All
teachers must sign a contract prepared by the Superintendent, and all such
contracts shall be approved by the Board of Education.
Failure to sign such a contract on or before May 15 or, if applicable,
not later than 15 days after final action is taken by the Board of Education
upon termination of professional negotiation absent a binding agreement under
article 43 of chapter 72 of Kansas Statutes Annotated, whichever is the later
date, shall render such contract null and void and of no effect, and that
teaching position shall be considered open.
