07-011 Professional Ethics
Teachers shall not act as agents, or accept commissions, royalties, or other
rewards for books or other school materials, the selection or purchase of which
they may influence. No teacher shall
tutor for pay any pupil attending classes in the building to which the teacher
is assigned, unless approved in advance by the building Principal.
Where there is disagreement among teachers on controversial school
issues, such discussions shall be conducted privately, and not in the presence
of students. Teachers are expected
to maintain a professional attitude in their relationships with both fellow
teachers and students, and shall at all times adhere to the Code of Ethics of
the teaching profession.
