Section 07-014  Classification of Pupils
It shall be the professional responsibility of the teacher to classify and grade, as well as to recommend pupils for promotion, in accordance with the instruction of the Principal and the policies of the school.  Retention of pupils shall be dealt with on an individual basis, with the teacher, Principal, and parent in consultation.  It shall be remembered that retention when necessary is usually most beneficial in the lower grades.  The Principals shall have final authority in all aspects of student classification, promotion, and retention.
