07-037 Annual Increments Not
Automatic
The USD 263 salary schedule allows teachers a regular annual salary increment
when earned and is appropriate under the guidelines of the district.
However, on the basis of unsatisfactory classroom work, the Board
reserves the right to retain a teacher on the same salary step.
This will be considered a period of probation to allow the teacher to
make the necessary adjustments and improvements.
If the work of the teacher remains unsatisfactory, the teacher will not
be recommended for re-employment the following year.
