07-039 Award Credit
The Board of Education supports the payment of award credit
reimbursement to teachers and administrators for college credit to improve and
enhance professional growth. The acceptable manner of approval for award credit
reimbursement will be recommended by the Professional Development Council and
acted upon by the Board of Education. The amount and the date of each payment
for approved college hours for the certified staff covered by the “Negotiated
Agreement” is to be negotiated with the current and recognized teacher
organization. The amount of payment and dates of payment for the administration
shall be determined by the Board of Education. Any changes to the current
process of the Professional Development Council must be developed by the
professional staff and incorporated into a proposal to be considered by the
Board of Education.
