07-046 Teacher Absence at Pre-School
Conference
While contracts for all teachers call for a specified number of days per school
term, it is nevertheless understood that all staff members are to attend any and
all meetings called for on the annual school calendar as approved by the Board
of Education. More specifically,
teachers shall attend all meetings with the building Principals and
Superintendent during the week preceding the opening of each school term.
Out-of-town employment, vacation trips, or similar personal reasons are
not considered adequate reasons to miss these meetings.
Only reasons of absence valid for sick leave purposes shall be accepted,
all other absences shall be unexcused and deductions of #
of contract days of the annual
salary shall be made from the next paycheck for each day of absence.
