Free and Appropriate Public Education Provisions
In order to provide students a free and appropriate public education,
the Board of Education of U.S.D. #263 prohibits the use of non-approved
curricular programs by non-district personnel during the school day.
Students will not be released for any part of the school day to
participate in unapproved, non-school curricular programs.
Students wishing to do so must participate during non-school time.
The Board of Education has an approved program of studies based on
research and sound methods to provide for the free and appropriate education of
all students. The approved program
and curriculums are to be reviewed on a schedule to be determined by designated
district personnel.
