Second Grade

The student will:

• Utilize keyboards and keyboarding software to develop proper keyboarding techniques
• Identify enter, shift, space bar, escape, arrows, backspace, caps lock, and delete keys
• Use proper hand positions for J key, F key, enter, shift and space bar
• Generate a list using a word processing software (ex. Spelling words)
• Use the internet as a resource for directed and independent learning activities
• Use software to improve reading, math, and writing skills
• Use software to improve skills across the curriculum
