Third Grade

The student will:

• Demonstrate mastery of usage of home rows and correct posture using keyboards and keyboarding software (Ch. 2, Lesson 2.1)
• Demonstrate the basic functions of resizing and scrolling a window
• Demonstrate ability to save a document (Ch. 1, Lesson 1.10)
• Discuss Acceptable Use Policy (Ch. 1, Lesson 1.13)
• Discuss responsible ways to use a computer (Ch. 1, Lesson 1.13)
• Demonstrate ability to send a document to a printer (Ch. 1, Lesson 1.11)
• Use software to improve reading, math, and writing skills
• Use software to improve skills across the curriculum
• Use appropriate positions for enter, shift, space bar, caps lock (Ch. 1, Ch. 2)
• Use the internet as a resource for directed and independent learning activities
