Fourth Grade

The student will:

• Demonstrate usage of keyboarding beyond home rows using keyboards and keyboarding software (Ch. 2)
• Use appropriate positions for enter, shift, space bar, escape, arrows, backspace, caps lock, and delete keys (Ch. 1, Ch. 2)
• Read, discuss, and understand Acceptable Use Policy
• Discuss copyright policies (Ch. 1, Lesson 1.13)
• Demonstrate ability to open a file using a word processing software (Ch. 3)
• Use the internet as a resource for directed and independent learning activities (Ch. 4)
• Use software to improve reading, math, and writing skills
