Fifth Grade

The students will:

• Demonstrate correct keyboarding skills through keyboarding software
• Be able to key 15 wpm with 80% accuracy by the end of the year
• Save document to different drives (Ch. 1, Lesson 1.10 Pg. 38)
• Access different drives to open files (Ch. 1, Lesson 1.10 Pg. 38)
• Be able to recognize computer errors
• Understand and apply copyright policies to projects
• Use software to improve reading, math, and writing skills
• Use software to improve skills across the curriculum
• Learn presentation software basics (e.g. Power Point) (Ch. 6)
• Use presentation software to create a presentation (Ch. 6)
• Access, navigate, and use the internet as a research tool (Ch. 4)
• Develop a bibliography to cite sources
