Sixth Grade

The students will:

• Demonstrate correct keyboarding skills through keyboarding software

• Be able to key 20 wpm with 85% accuracy by the end of the year
• Learn numbers and symbols using correct reaches
• Access, navigate, and use the internet as a research tool (Section 3.5)
• Develop a presentation using presentation software (Section 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4)
• Use software to improve reading, math, and writing skills
• Use software to improve skills across the curriculum
• Understand and apply copyright policies to projects
• Develop a bibliography to cite sources (Section 6.2)
