Grade School: Activities

Reading Counts Beach Party

The students that reached their reading goals attended the last Reading Counts celebration for this school year. Fun was had by all students while they rotated by grade level between nine activities.

Students dug in Treasure Sand with hopes of finding treasures. Buried in the sand were coins (pennies, nickels, and dimes), shells and sharks.

Many students received tattoos. Only 40 tattoos remained out of the 700 on hand.

Students also played with water balloons, bubbles, frisbees, sidewalk chalk, hoola hoops, jump ropes, basketballs and more.
