Assignment:
Students will be going to the American Red Cross to complete both First Aid/and Adult Aid/and Adult CPR certification classes. Completing one section only will not receive you any credit for this assignment, both sections must be done. This is a one day class that runs from 8:30 -4:00. There is a limit of 12 people per class, so getting your name in early is very important if this option is desired. The current cost of certification is $45.00. This is not a mandatory project for the class! This is an alternative to the two projects that are required. After completion of this course, students should bring Mr. Myears/Mr. Miller your signed certification cards for both First Aid/and Adult CPR. 400 points will be rewarded (200 in each quarter) for the completing this assignment. Infant CPR can be taken as well, but there is a separate class that would be taken for that certification. An additional 25 points will be rewarded for Infant CPR certification. You will have to tell them which options you would like to do when you call to sign up. If you currently hold certification, see your instructor to see if you can receive credit for this assignment.
