Clothing Requirements:

You will be required to wear black gym shorts (no tights).  Shorts must be longer than finger-tip length with arms hanging at your sideA grey (Miller) or green (Myears) Mulvane PE T-shirt is required.  Additional T-shirts may be purchased for $5.00 as needed!  Tennis shoes (no cleats or black-soled shoes) and white athletic socks are required.  You will be required to wear these items every day during PE class.  These items must be different from the clothes worn to school (shoes included).

Not dressing out for class will result in the following:

1 non-suit in quarter = loss of 10 daily points!

                2 non-suits in quarter = grade lowered to a “B”!

                3 non-suits in quarter = grade lowered to a “C”!

                4 non-suits in quarter = grade lowered to a “D”!

                5 non-suits or more in quarter = grade lowered to a “F”!

If you are sick, the instructor must receive a note from one of your parents that explains your illness.  The notes do not excuse you from dressing out, but it can excuse you from participation for that day.  If you are going to miss more than one day, the instructor must receive a note from your doctor that explains your illness.  Both notes should state the nature of your injury or illness, the activities you cannot participate in, and the length of time you should refrain from participation.  Make-up papers will be completed on the days that PE was missed for injuries.  10 minutes make-up runs will be completed for all other missed days.

Make-up work:

The instructor will accept no late work.  If a student is absent from class, they will have 2 days from their return to school to turn in anything missed.

Discipline:

Students will be expected to act in an appropriate manner.  Respecting others and coming to class ready to learn will be expected.  Detentions are served within the next 2 days at 7:25 in the morning!
