Traci Becker, principal of the Mulvane Middle School, received the Kansas Association of Middle School Administrators “Exemplary” Middle School Award during the KAMSA Awards Luncheon held at Washburn Rural Middle School in Topeka on May 6, 2013.
An Exemplary rating means the middle school must participate in an on-site evaluation conducted by the KAMSA review team. During the review the middle school must present evidence of continual efforts to improve and demonstrate new and innovative programs that accelerate academic achievement. Teachers and staff must also provide students with motivation through recognition and awards.
