Summer Food Program Feeds Kids For Free

Mulvane, KS– With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about keeping children eating healthy while school is out. Mulvane USD 263 provides free meals to children and teens ages 1-18 during the summer.

This summer, meals will be served at Mulvane Grade School, 411 SE Louis BLVD, Monday – Friday, breakfast 8 am-9:30 am, lunch 11 am-1 pm. Our dates of operation begin Tuesday May 26th and end Thursday Aug 6th. (No Meals will be served on Friday July 3rd) There are no income requirements or registration.  Any child or teen under age 19 may come to eat.  For more information contact Mulvane USD 263 at 316-777-1102, rhampton@usd263.org. Adult meals are available for purchase when eating with a child or teen.

Each year, the United States Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like Mulvane USD 263 to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer.
