National Bullying Prevention Month
Dear Parents and Guardians,
In observance of National Bullying Prevention Month, the schools will be holding special discussions and activities during the week of October 5, 2015.
This is also the week our Website, Facebook and Twitter accounts will feature a BLUE background in the spirit of raising awareness and promoting bullying prevention.
We’re asking students and adults to participate in the BLUE SHIRT DAY on Monday, October 5, 2015 to raise awareness and stop bullying.
Using the HARM acronym to recognize bullying behaviors helps students resolve conflicts and seek help when needed.
Bullying behaviors are…
H - Harmful
A - Actions or Words
R - Repeated
M - More than once to hurt or control others
