Kansas All-Star Scholars Fund approves Arts Grant to MGS

Kansas All-Star Scholars Fund approved an Arts Grant of nearly $7,500 to our MGS Music and Art Departments. 50% of these funds were approved for new band instruments and 50% was allocated to Fine Arts. You can imagine the excitement for Mrs. Kraft when her new kiln arrived for the MGS Art students and the look in Mrs. Dayton’s eyes when her large shipment of new band instruments arrived for her MGS Music students. This new larger working kiln will be perfect for the clay projects that her students create each year at the grade school. Mrs. Dayton is excited to introduce these new instruments to her students and we anticipate a variety of new songs in her music programs. We especially thank the Kansas All-Star Scholars Fund for partnering with us on this project and for the way they continually support the young students in our community.
