Jan. 17 Superintendent Interview

Mike Bonner will be interviewing for the position of Superintendent with the Board of Education on the evening of January 17, 2018.

Mike is one of the six candidates that the USD 263 board of education will be interviewing.  Candidates were selected for interviews based on their fit with the desired characteristics that were developed with input from focus groups that were utilized throughout the search process.

Mike is currently serving as the Asst. Superintendent of Schools in USD 262, Valley Center Kansas.  He is in his 6th year in that position.  Previously, Mike served as a High School Principal for 6 years in USD 266 Maize High School, and Middle School Principal for USD 263 Mulvane for 3 years (2000-2003).

                11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.     Meet with district office staff and district administration

                12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m.       Tour of district facilities and community

                2:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.         Meet with community leaders

                2:30 p.m.-2:45 p.m.         Break

                2:45 p.m.-3:30 p.m.         Meet with the Superintendent

                3:30 p.m.-3:45 p.m.         Meet with the MEA President

                3:45 p.m.-4:30 p.m.         Reception with general public and district staff

                4:30 p.m-5:30 p.m.          Break

                5:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.         Light dinner with board of education

                6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.         Formal interview with the board of education conducted in executive session
