Dear Parents and Community Members,
Construction crews will begin renovations at Munson Primary school later this week. Crews will begin demolition on the exterior of the building removing concrete, awnings and preparing the site for the new addition. Construction will not take place inside Munson at this time.
This phase of the project includes modifications to the existing building which will provide additional classrooms for special education, improved safety, updated HVAC systems and storm shelters.
Safety is our main priority, so please remember to stay outside of the safety fencing at all times!
Please remind your children to do the same when school is in session and when school is closed.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as work continues to improve our schools for our students.

Lyle Couch Stadium Track Open â Phase 1 Complete
The painting contractor completed the work on the lines for the track. This completes Phase 1 of the renovations at Lyle Couch Stadium.
The School District allows public access to the new track during daylight hours when school events are not scheduled. Patrons are requested to use lanes 6, 7 and 8 for walking, jogging, or running. âÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂThe community has invested in this beautiful facility and we want everyone to enjoy it,â said Superintendent Brad Rahe.
Patrons can access the track through the gate on the left side of the ticket booth. âÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂThe district asks that no skateboards, pets, rollerblades, bicycles or strollers be on the track,â said Athletic Director Doug Evers. We also ask that patrons follow other posted rules such as no food, drinks, tobacco or sunflower seeds on the track.
We hope that everyone in the district takes pride in the stadium so it can provide many years of enjoyment.
