Shuttle Information
SHUTTLE BUS SCHEDULE
09-10 SCHOOL YEAR
The shuttle buses have been set up to offer safe transportation for students that live within the city limits. District school bus rules apply on the shuttle buses.
Morning Shuttle:
There will be two shuttles in the morning. All students should arrive at their shuttle pick up location early, the shuttle will follow the schedule very closely. The morning shuttle schedule will be as follows for shuttle 1, shuttle 2 will run 15 minutes later:
A.M. Shuttle Schedule
7:00 a.m. - 7:05 a.m. – MGS: Shuttle 1 will pick up students that walk to the grade school. These should be students that are enrolled in a breakfast program and will be going to the high school, middle school and primary early to eat.
7:10 a.m. - 7:15 a.m. – MP/MMS: Shuttle 1 will pick up students at the bell in front of the middle school that are going to the high school and the grade school. Middle school students will be dropped off. Shuttle 2 will have arrived at the grade school and will depart at 7:18 a.m.
7:20 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. – MHS: Shuttle 1 will drop off students at the high school and pick up students going to the primary, middle and grade schools. Shuttle 1 will await the arrival of shuttle 2 and both buses will depart for the Munson Primary at 7:30 a.m.
7:35 a.m. – 7:40 a.m. – MP/MMS: Shuttles 1 & 2 will drop off students at the primary and middle school and pick up any students running late.
7:45 a.m. – 7:50 a.m. – MGS: Shuttles 1 & 2 will drop off remaining students at the grade school.
Afternoon Shuttle:
There will be three shuttles running in the afternoon. Students that ride the afternoon shuttles are assigned to shuttles based on grade. Shuttle 1 will be designated for students in grades K, 1, & 3. Shuttle 2 will be designated for students in grade 2, 4, & 6. Shuttle 3 will be designated for students in grades 7 and higher. Some overflow may occur depending upon number of passengers but will be arranged by the director on that day. All students are required to ride their assigned bus. On days that there is a shortage of drivers, shuttle 1 is doubled up with route 9.
P.M. Shuttle Schedule
2:55 p.m. – 3:05 p.m. – MHS: All shuttles will pick up high school students and proceed to the primary and middles schools.
3:10 p.m. – 3:25 p.m. – MP/MMS: Shuttles will drop off students at primary/middle school and pick up assigned students going to the grade school and high school.
3:35 p.m. – 3:40 p.m. – MGS: Shuttles will drop off students at the grade school and pick up grade school students going to the primary, middle and high schools.
3:45 p.m. – 3:50 p.m. – MP/MMS: Shuttles will drop off students at the primary and middle schools.
3:55 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – MHS: Shuttles will drop off remaining students at the high school.
Shuttle Fees:
Due to the budget cuts received by the state, USD 263 will begin charging an annual fee for students that ride the shuttle buses. All fees should be paid at the students school and turned in with the bus enrollment form. Students will be given shuttle passes allowing them to get on the shuttle bus. Students MUST have this pass everyday to get on the shuttles. Passes will vary in color, Yellow - AM Shuttle, Blue - PM Shuttle, Green - AM & PM Shuttle. Lost or broken passes can be replaced for $1 per pass. Pass fees will be as follows:
AM Pass (Student only rides morning shuttle) $15/Student
PM Pass (Student only rides afternoon shuttle) $15/Student
Multi Pass (Student rides both morning and afternoon shuttle) $25/Student
Family (Families with 4 or more students that need Multi Passes) $100/Family
IF A STUDENT MISSES THE SHUTTLE, IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THAT STUDENT’S PARENTS TO GET THEIR CHILD TO SCHOOL.
