What is T.A.P.E.?
T.A.P.E. stands for Teachers and Parents for Education. We are here to help Munson Primary & the Grade School when & where needed. During the school year we host fundraisers that support our teachers and schools. These extra funds (as much as $30,000 in one school year!) allow the schools to purchase new technology & equipment which help to greatly increase the quality of education in our schools. T.A.P.E. also provides several events for both the students and their families. We offer t-shirt & yearbook sales, help with the book fairs and picture days, student directory, organize & support room parents and provide help to teachers and staff as needed.
How can I get involved?
Being involved with T.A.P.E. is easy! Start by filling out the sign up form and send it back to your student’s school. Then, attend meetings & vote for T.A.P.E. projects and expenses. Finally, watch for opportunities to volunteer. These will be announced at the monthly meetings, listed in the newsletter and posted on the T.A.P.E. website and Facebook page.
How do I stay informed about T.A.P.E. projects?
You can visit our website (www.mulvanetape.blogspot.com), follow "Mulvane T.A.P.E." on Facebook, attend the meetings on the first Thursday of each month (see dates below), read the T.A.P.E. newsletter sent home with students every month and watch for special notes to be sent home periodically.
