Welcome!
My name is Julina Beck and I've been teaching for 12 years. I spent my first 5 years teaching 5th grade at Mulvane Intermediate School, then 2 years at Jefferson Elementary in Ark City, and I've been at Mulvane Grade School for 5 years now. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Emporia State University and my Master's Degree from Friends University.
This year, we're using a great new science textbook from McGraw-Hill. It's a mixture of lab work and work with the textbook. All materials are available for student use online as well as in print.
Science Textbook Log-In information:
1.) Go to www.connected.mcgraw-hill.com
2.) Username: (all caps) first letter of first name and whole last name with 5 at the end
example: JBECK5
3.) Password: (all caps) MGS2011
This allows the students access to their entire book and all related print material, including lab sheets, outlines and vocabulary pages. In addition, students can also play games, complete online e-journal entries and watch e-reviews of each lesson.
