Hello! My name is Katie Entwisle and I am a third grade teacher. I am proud to teach in Mulvane, KS because it is a wonderful school district that provides amazing service to children. We focus on each individual student and strive for each one to make great gains in learning!
This year MGS received a large grant for technology from the state of Kansas and my classroom is now a Technology Rich Classroom (TRC). We have tons of awesome technology to use to enhance instruction and student motivation. I am still learning how to use it and will work hard this year to have my students use it as a tool for learning.
A little more about me..
I grew up in Mulvane and graduated from MHS in 2001. I am married to Adam and we have a little boy named Jack.
This is my fourth year teaching third grade in Mulvane. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Wichita State University in 2006 and I will complete my Master's degree in May of 2010. The main focus of my graduate level courses is teaching reading, although I really enjoy teaching math.
