Welcome to first grade! My name is Denise Hansel and this is my sixth year at Munson Primary. I graduated from Newman University in December of 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. This is my tenth year teaching, and I have taught both first and second grade.When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband's name is Jerry and we have two children- Joshua, who is in eighth grade at Mulvane Middle School, and Jordan, a senior at Mulvane High School. We are having a great year at Munson! There are many fun, hands on activities that help us learn. I am very excited about our Math and Reading curriculum, and the use of technology in our classroom. Some highlights of our year include our field trip to the dairy farm, the 100th day of school, Kansas day, and our field trip in the spring. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
