Welcome to preschool! I am excited to be a part of the preschool team at Munson Primary. I previously taught first grade at MPS for two years, and transitioned to preschool to once again work with the littlest of the littles at our wonderful school. Before working at Munson, I was an educator for the Wee Panther Pals preschool program for Derby Parents as Teachers and provided home visits for families enrolled in PAT. I have also worked for Head Start and Early Head Start programs in northeastern Kansas. I obtained my degree in Education from Fort Hays State University and also have a degree in anthropology and African studies from the University of Kansas. I am a mom of two children, both of which inspired me to begin teaching. It is my goal to make sure that all of my students feel loved and valued, and provide them with a positive academic environment that will allow them to flourish. I hope to build strong relationships with parents and guardians, so please feel free to contact me by email (klowe@usd263.org) or by phone at 777-0151.
I am eager to begin this upcoming school year and look forward to meeting all of my wonderful preschoolers and their families!
