K2B (Kindergartners-to-Be) Pre-Enrollment is underway through May 15.

Parents of current Munson preschoolers DO NOT need to complete pre-enrollment paperwork.  Current Munson preschoolers are already set up for kindergarten enrollment in Skyward. Please look below for information about K2B Online Screenings and Parent Meet & Greet, Tour and Q & A.

All other parents/guardians of children who are or will be five years old on or before August 31, 2020 will need to complete pre-enrollment paperwork, turn in copies of required documents and contact Debbie White to receive information about online screenings for their K2B child.

April 23-May 15, 2020: Pre-Enrollment Documents Completed, Copied & Turned In

• Parents may arrange to pick up hard copies of documents needing to be completed from Munson's office or print them from the six colored links below or via email by contacting Debbie White at dwhite@usd263.org.
• Email a copy of the child's original state-issued birth certificate, immunization records, physical completed within the past year and proof of residency (utility bill with name & address) to Cindy Martin at cmartin@usd263.org.  Proof of residency cannot be a driver's license.
• Munson Primary School office will be open on Mondays from 8 AM-3 PM to drop these documents by the school. Please feel free to contact Debbie White at dwhite@usd263.org or 316-200-6917 with any questions or for assistance.

• Complete the following three necessary pre-enrollment papers and read this note from Mrs. Canfield about Health Room requirements.  Email completed forms to Cindy Martin at cmartin@usd263.org or arrange to drop the forms off at Munson Primary School.

• Actual enrollment will need to be completed after pre-enrollment paperwork is entered into Munson's computer system and the online enrollment process is opened to district patrons in July.

April 23-May 15, 2020: K2B Child ASQ 3 & ASQ-SE2 Screening / Parent Meet & Greet, Tour, Q & A

• Parents of current Munson preschool students who are or will be five years old by August 31 will receive an email from Mrs. White with links to complete online screenings for their K2B child. Information will also be posted to Class Dojo preschool class stories. 

• All other parents/guardians must contact Debbie White to receive the email links to complete their K2B child's online screening: dwhite@usd263.org or 316-200-6917. 

• In May, several Zoom parent meetings will be organized to give families a tour of Munson and allow parents to ask questions and meet other Team Munson staff and families. Details will be shared after parents complete the K2B screenings.

Anticipated/Tentative: July 2020: Skyward Family Access, Online Enrollment

• Contact LeAnn Pierce, USD 263 District Office (316-777-1102) to set up a Skyward Family Access account, if you don't already have a family account.

• Complete online enrollment.

Anticipated/Tentative: August 1-15, 2020: Mandatory Online ASQ Screenings Window

• Parents/Guardians will receive information about completing the state's ASQ-3 & ASQ SE-2 online screenings prior to their child's first day of kindergarten.   

Anticipated/Tentative: August 18-21, 2020: Staggered Start & “Second” Day of Kindergarten

• Staggered kindergarten start will be August 18-20.  Parents will be able to submit their requests for their child's first day of kindergarten after completing enrollment.  One third of the class will come on Tuesday, August 18. The second third of students will come on Wednesday, August 19. The remaining third of students in the class will come on Thursday, August 20.
• The first day ALL kindergartners will be at Munson will be Friday, August 21, 2020.
