MHS Hybrid Learning Mode Change to Full-Time, March 29
Sent in School Messenger Mar 10, 2021, 5:28 PM
Dear MHS Students and Families,
As specified in Dr. Ensley's video update yesterday, beginning on March 29th, we are transitioning our hybrid learning mode to a full-time on-campus learning mode. As we pivot to our full-time mode, we are merging the off-campus work (approximately 45 minutes per day per class) and the on-campus class time (approximately 45 minutes), into a block schedule. Students will continue following the same schedule of four classes per day when we begin our full-time learning mode on March 29th, unless the Counseling Office has notified them of a schedule change. The new full-time in-person daily class schedule is attached.

Remote students will continue with their established classes. Remote students will attend Advisory through Google Meet on Monday and Thursday and follow the Google Meet check-in procedures as specified in the remote Google Classroom on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Remote learners are welcome to come on campus and work in their remote teacher's classroom during the teacher's remote support hour.
Additionally, the district's COVID protocols and quarantine guidelines are attached. These procedures have been updated in cooperation with the Sedgwick County Health Department following SCHD updates to school quarantine protocols (attached.)

In order to help navigate this change in the best way, please call our office by March 22nd, if you have any questions or concerns about your student's schedule or learning mode.
We are thankful for the opportunities we have to work with your student!
Respectfully,
