Kindergartners To Be Screenings (K2B)

Important Dates for Parents of Children Entering Kindergarten next year (2022/23)

April 18-29, 2022 (8:00-3:00) -  Fill out Enrollment Paperwork @ Munson Office

• Families with new students to Munson (excludes currently enrolled pre-K) will need to come in to complete enrollment paperwork and bring the following documents:

  • Proof of residency (utility bill with name and address)

  • Original birth certificate

  • Immunization records & physical

• When you come in to complete paperwork, you will sign up for one of the hour time slots on May 25th to drop off your child for their K2B screening (details below).  You may also call to schedule your child(s) appointment @ 316-777-0151

  • Current Pre-K students @ Munson will be screened while at school.

• We need ALL parents of incoming Kindergarten students to complete both the ASQ-3 & ASQ -SE2.  The state requires districts to have parents complete the screenings.  These are academic and social emotional screeners that will assist classroom teachers in supporting your child.  CLICK THIS LINK TO COMPLETE SCREENINGS (You will choose the first option to complete both ASQ and ASQ SE.  The first is an academic screener and the second is a social/emotional screener.

• Wednesday, May 25th time slots:

  • 8:15-9:15

  • 9:30-10:30

  • 12:45-1:45

  • 2:00-3:00

When you arrive for your child’s screening time, please enter through the doors on the south side, to your left of the main entrance (when facing the school).  A staff member will be there to greet you and bring your child to the screening area.
