Dr. Raquel Greer, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services
I am so proud to be a part of the Mulvane School District for over 20 years. During that time, I have served as a 3rd grade Teacher, Elementary Counselor, Elementary Principal, and now, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.
A little about what I do for the district:
My main responsibility is to ensure our teachers and students have what they need to be successful in our classrooms. Some specific responsibilities include special education, 504s, general education interventions, professional learning activities, curriculum and assessment resources, KESA accreditation, and federal program compliance.
A little bit about me:
I grew up in Liberal, KS and graduated from Liberal High School in 1992. I then graduated from Emporia State University in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I began teaching 4th grade in Holcomb, KS and then moved to Mulvane in 1999 to be a 3rd grade teacher. At that time, I wanted to live in the Wichita area and loved what Mulvane had to offer in a small town near a big city. I received a Masters of Education in Counseling in 2003 and a Masters of Education in Leadership in 2008 from Wichita State University - then continued with WSU to complete a Doctorate of Education in 2019. This is my 21st year working in our school district.
My husband, Jason Greer, is also a native of Liberal, KS. He is the Director of Livestock for National Carriers. We have a blended family of four children: Trey, McKinley, Drew, and Mason. Trey is a freshman at University of California-Berkeley, McKinley is a senior at Amber-Pocasset High School, Drew is a sophomore and Mason is a freshman at Wichita Collegiate School. I enjoy running and spending time with my family - especially watching my kids play their favorite sports.
