Welcome to Mrs. Crowell's 3rd Grade Class!
My name is Candace Crowell and I grew up in Wellington, Kansas. After graduating high school I atteneded Southwestern College and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. This will be my 5th year of teaching; I am extremely excited to get this new year started! I know this will be a good year full of many different experiences and having fun. My time away from school is spent with my family and closest friends, being outdoors, and of course shopping!
I will be teaching Math and Science. My partner teacher, Mrs. Cunningham. Your child should be bringing home his or her agenda each night for you to look over and them to bring back the next day. In their agendas they will have any homework assignments or other notes that are important for you to see. Homework will be sent home usually only when the students do not finish their work in class. Any work that I send home will not be "busy" work, but things that will increase their knowledge on the skill we are learning. Homework will be due the next day. If your child ever has an issue with a problem just have them put a star by it or circle it and I will go over it with them the next day. I never want your child to be stressed or worried about a homework assignment.
