ALL PLANS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD'S AGENDA BOOK FOR DAILY ASSIGNMENTS, AS THEY ARE REQUIRED TO FILL OUT THEIR AGENDA EVERYDAY THEY ARE IN CLASS. FILLING OUT THE AGENDA HELPS STUDENTS STAY ORGANIZED, HELPS THEM TO BE RESPONSIBLE, HELPS THEM TO BUDGET THEIR TIME, AND HELPS THEM TO BE PREPARED! THE AGENDA COULD BE A TOOL TO INCREASE SUCCESS.
Dear Students:
Do your best by putting forth 100% effort to actively participate during class activities, continually ask questions when you do not understand, and to thoroughly complete all independent exercises to the best of your ability. Although most students do not enjoy showing all the steps and all their work, it is required at the middle school level to show all necessary work to get credit for answers.
Do your best to stay organized by keeping a neat and creative math binder, filling out your agenda daily, and if at all possible, DO NOT FALL BEHIND. I am in my classroom everyday after school until 4:00-4:30 and available to assist you with your independent exercises, help with specific problems, or to assist you in any way. Please take advantage of this opportunity, especially if you feel the lessons in class went a little to quickly for you to "catch" on.
