Jessie Fishel has been working in education since 2004. She has taught Preschool, Kindergarten, third, and fifth grade, and various grades K-6th as a resource teacher. Mrs. Fishel has worked in Mulvane since August 2022.

Mrs. Fishel's passions include reading and writing. She has published middle grade stories since 2023. She is married to Chase Fishel and has two children.
