Congratulations to the varsity football team on there 34 – 28 win over Great Bend last Friday night.  AJ caught a touchdown pass from Gus with 47 seconds to go to put our Wildcats in front for good.  Dylan scored three touchdowns and led the defense with 18 tackles.  Jaman recovered the games only fumble that set up the final Wildcat score.

Congratulations to the varsity football team on their 55-8 win over Kingman last Friday night.  Gus tied a school record by throwing 5 touchdown passes.  Corbin caught two touchdown passes and Brandon, AJ and Jordan all had one touchdown catch.  Payton led the young wildcats in the second half with a touchdown pass to Trent.  AJ and Chance led the defense with 8 tackles.  AJ, Corbin, Jordan and Jaman all had interceptions for MHS.

Congratulations to the MHS football team on their 38-7 win over ElDorado Friday night.  Dylan led a stingy defense with 18 tackles and AJ scored on a pass interception late in the game.  Jaman recovered a fumble in the second quarter that set up a big score before half-time.  On offense Ty kicked 5 extra points and a field goal.  Blake and Dylan each scored on touchdown runs and Gus hooked up with Corbin on two touchdown passes. 

L 19-39

The MHS football team lost its first game of the year last Friday night and Saturday morning 39-19.  Mulvane was led on offense by junior Gus who threw for 207 yards.  AJ and Jesse each had 5 receptions for MHS.  Dylan had two rushing touchdowns.  On defense Chance led the team with 12 tackles and AJ and Dylan each had 10.  Zach had a fumble recovery for Mulvane who is now 3-1 on the season.

Congratulations to the varsity football team on their 49-10 win over Augusta.  Gus threw for 252 yards and threw touchdown passes to AJ and Jesse.  Dylan, Todd and Blake all scored on the ground for MHS.  Corbin set a new school record with a 95 yard punt return for a touchdown.  AJ had an interception and Chance and Michael each had fumble recoveries.  Ty was a perfect 7 for 7 on extra points.

L  14-48

The varsity football team fell to Buhler on Friday night 48-14.  Jaman led the defense with 19 tackles and Dylan had 15 stops for MHS.  Dylan also accounted for both Mulvane touchdowns on a 2 yard run and 75 yard pass play from Gus.  

L  13-37

The Wildcat football team lost its opening round district game to Andover Central 37-13 last Friday night.  Mulvane’s touchdowns came on a Dylan 2 yard run and a 41 yard pass to Corbin from Gus.  Gus led the MHS offense with 198 passing yards.  Jaman led the defense with 17 tackles and Mick added 11 stops for MHS.  Brandon had the only MHS takeaway with a fumble recovery.

Gus passed for 190 yards and threw 2 touchdown passes to Jordan.  Dylan rushed for 126 yards on offense but it wasn’t enough as your MHS football team lost a heartbreaker 28-26.  On defense Dylan had 12 stops and Jaman had 11 for the Wildcats.  Nick and Zach each had a fumble recovery.  The Wildcats fell to 4 - 4 on the season.

The Wildcat football team ended their season last night with a 48-28 loss at Rose Hill.  Dylan ended his Wildcat career with 3 touchdowns and 140 rushing yards.  Chase caught a touchdown pass from Gus who threw for 120 yards on the night.  AJ, Dylan and Dylan each had 10 tackles to lead the defense and Zach had a fumble recovery.

Congratulations to the freshmen football team on their 27-13 win over Great Bend yesterday.  Scoring for the cats were Zach, Ty and Alex.  Austin had two interceptions to help the defense.

Congratulations to the fresh/soph football team for their 48-28 win over Kingman last night.  Touchdowns for the Wildcats:  Alex with 2 and one each for Ty, Todd, Josh and Bryson.  Two point conversions were made by:  Ty, Alex, Todd, Josh, Jared and Cole.

Congratulations to the fresh/soph football team on their 41-6 win over ElDorado.  Todd led the offense with 5 touchdowns and Bryson scoring one.  Defensively the Wildcats shut down the ElDorado offense.  Good job boys.

The JV football team defeated Andover 20-14.  The Wildcats were sparked by a punishing ground game and a stellar defensive effort.

Congratulations to the freshmen football team on their 19-7 win over Andover last night.  The play of the offensive line in the second half helped Mulvane to victory.  On defense the cats had their best effort of the season.  Good job boys.

The JV football team defeated Buhler 6-0 in double overtime.  Todd Parton scored the winning touchdown.  The JV defense has not given up a score in 9 quarters and 2 overtimes.  The defense stopped the Crusaders on 4^th and goal from the one to preserve the win.
