Hello, I am Kendra Kanaga, the nurse at the Grade School. This is my 3rd year in Mulvane. I previously worked in a physician's office in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics for 10years. I have also had 3 years of home health experience. I have been married for 10 years to my wonderful husband and we have two beautiful girls. Katie is a 3rd grader and Karlie is in kindergarten.
My time is split between the Grade School and Middle School. I am usually at the Middle School in the mornings and spend the afternoons at the Grade School. I have two wonderful health aides that are at each building full time.
During the school year, I will complete hearing screens for all third graders and vision screens for all fourth graders. Our fifth graders will also receive a Health and Puberty lesson in the Spring of 5th grade. In March we will also have dental screens performed on all students and will notify parents if there are any dental concerns.
I have enjoyed my first two years here in Mulvane and truly enjoy all of your wonderful children. I look forward to caring for them each and every day.
