Salad Bar:  Salad Mix, Fresh Broccoli, Carrot Sticks, Grape Tomatoes, Cucumber Slices, Bell Pepper Strips (might be red or green or both), Kidney Beans, Peas, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, bacon bits & dressing & two fruit choices.

The Jolly Green Giant first appears on T.V. commercials.  He has unintended results as he frightens children watching.  He was given a makeover and lightened up to make him more appealing.  Sweet and Low is marketed as an artificial sweetener and Friskies introduces the world’s first day cat food.  The year is 1958 and today’s throwback artist is Richie Valens.  Today’s songs were Let’s Go and La Bamba.

From the Nurse’s Office:  Students please bring any medications you may have to the health room.  If you have any paperwork for immunizations, please bring to the health room.
