USD #263 consists of Munson Primary School (Pre-k-2), Mulvane Grade School (3-5) Mulvane Middle School (6-8) Mulvane High School (9-12) and Mulvane Academy (9-12, max of 20 students) . The Mulvane community has invested heavily in the education of its future citizens, most recently a bond issue was passed to make improvements and additions to may of the district facilities.
A certified staff of 47 and a support system of 24 provide education/services to the 630 Mulvane High School students. MHS requires 24 credits for graduation. Students may choose from a broad range of courses from arts to sciences. Additionally, students benefit from participation in a wide range of extracurricular activities including golf, football, cross country, volleyball, wrestling, soccer, KAY, TSA, Scholar's Bowl, drama, band, and much more.
The Mulvane High School mission is to prepare students to function as knowledgeable, competent adults in the 21st century. In order to carry out that mission, administrators and staff members focus on creating an environment which supports high academic standards and which holds students accountable for responsible behavior.
Mulvane High School is a class 4A school with an enrollment of approximately 630 students, grades 9-12. MHS is a member of the Ark Valley/Chisholm Trail League Division 3.
