Mrs. Kasahra Cotton, MHS Assistant Principal
I am excited to serve as the Assistant Principal at Mulvane High School! I started by career as a substitute teacher and para in 2008. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2011 from Southwestern College and began teaching in 2014. I earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2019 from Southwestern College and began working on my Doctorate in Educational Leadership the same year at Baker University. I am currently writing my dissertation to defend soon.
I spent most of my time in Haysville Public Schools teaching multiple grades at the elementary level and the last 3 years as the Assistant Principal at Haysville West Middle School. I did teach at Munson Primary School in 2019 and am looking forward to returning to Mulvane, so I can serve the community I live in!
My husband and I have been married for 16 years and have two boys. My oldest works for the Air National Guard, he and his wife live in Derby. My youngest is a student at Mulvane Middle School.
It is my pleasure to serve the Mulvane community, and I look forward to partnering with students, parents, and staff to support their success.
