Daily Announcements

• Sevenettes-There will be a meeting during advisement on Thursday in the commons! 

• Boys Basketball will have their last day of tryouts after school today. Good luck!!

• There will be an FCA meeting this Thursday, during advisement in the main gym. Come join us for Christians fellowship. All students are welcome.

• Reminder that we will have our December Circle of Friends meeting this Thursday during lunch. See you there!

• Are you a decent speller? MMS needs you!!! The League Spelling Bee is coming up on January 13th. It is open to any 7th or 8th Grader in good standing. We will have a meeting during Advisement when we get back from winter break. Any interested 7th or 8th hour should email Mrs. Landwehr this week. 

• Students be sure to check the lost and found! Any items left after Friday will be donated. 

• This is the last reminder that if you have a military relative on the wall in front of the office from Veteran’s Day, you may come and take the card off the wall and keep them. Anything left by Friday will be thrown away. 

• If you are in A Lunch, you need to sit with your 4th hour class when you come to lunch this week. The tables will be labeled with your 4th hour teacher's name. 

• Mrs. Downs NJHS will be having a Christmas Spirit week throughout next week. Here are the days:

  • Monday - Christmas Vacation, dress wintery or tropical

  • Tuesday - Color Wars, 6th Grade wears white, 7th Grade wears green, and 8th Grade wears red.

  • Wednesday - Ugly Christmas Sweater 

  • Thursday - Comfy Clothes or pajamas 

  • Friday - Christmas Chaos, wear anything Christmas (bells, socks, hats, shirts, etc.)

• Mrs. Downs: NJHS will be hosting a “Cozy Christmas” for 7th and 8th graders on Thursday, December 18th from 6-8pm. There will be hot cocoa, cookies and a Christmas movie to watch. Wear your comfy clothes, bring a pillow, blanket, and favorite stuffed animal if you want. Admission is $2. Hope to see everyone there!
