• Junior Wrestling Coaches: For any current 6th Graders interested in Mulvane Jr. Wildcat Wrestling, there is an informational sheet you can pick up in the office practice starts next week. 

• Dungeons & Dragons will meet after school today in the Library until 4:30 pm. 

• Good luck to the boys wrestling tomorrow morning at Haysville West! 

• MMS Staff: As Thanksgiving approaches quickly, the calendar says it is time for 🎅🏼SECRET SANTA!🎅🏼 The sign up sheets are in front of the mailboxes and need to be completed and returned to Liz or Shelly by Friday, November 14th, during late start and throughout the day. Thank you in advance for joining in on the fun! 

• Attention Mulvane Middle School Students! Next week, we come together as a school community for the annual Student Council Food Drive. It begins Monday, Nov. 10th, and ends on Friday, Nov. 14th. Our goal is to collect 5,000 items. All donations benefit our local community. Student Council believes everyone should have an opportunity to enjoy a warm meal this holiday season. You can donate the following items and bring them to your advisement teacher throughout the week. 

  • Canned goods 

  • Jarred items

  • Non-perishable items 

  • Boxed items 

  • Turkey & Hams 

  • Money donations - every dollar donated equals two items

This year, we are pulling out all the stops! The top three classes in each grade level will receive a prize courtesy of STUCO. This year, the prizes are:

• 1st place: Class choice of cell phones at lunch for 3 Fridays, cookies and ice cream floats party, McDonal’s breakfast, or your choice of pop, candy, and chips from the concession stand. 

• 2nd Place and 3rd Place will get to choose from the options that 1st place did not take. 

We will also be hosting a class competition! Each advisement class will be given a donation goal. Class goals will be determined by the number of students in each advisement class. Any class that meets its goal will be entered into a Pins Tournament on Friday, November 21st, during 7th and 8th hour. Classes will compete against other classes that met their goal. Classes that do not meet their goal will be spectators. If there are not classes that meet their goal, there is no Pins Tournament, and everyone has to go to their regular 7th and 8th hours that day. 

The Food Drive Raffle will be returning with some awesome prizes. STUCO members will begin selling tickets starting Monday, November 11st. The Prize winners will be announced at the end of the day on Friday, November 14th. The raffle prizes are:

• (2) mini fridges

• (1) Foodie Gift Card Basket - includes gift cards to Mulvane Restaurants

• (1) Candy Basket - includes 20 different types of candy

• (1) Summer Fun Basket - a season family pass to Mulvane Pool, pool floaties, and a beach towel

• (1) Cozy Comfort Basket - Heated blanket, weighted stuffed animal, and rope lights

• (2) Wireless Earbuds 

• (2) Wireless Headphones

Raffle tickets can be purchased from any STUCO member. Raffle jars will be available in the commons each day during lunch. Tickets are:

• $1 = 1 ticket

• $3 = 5 tickets 

• $5 = 7 tickets

• $10 = 15 tickets
