I have the privilege of serving as the principal of Wildcat Academy & Mulvane High School. Since beginning my career in education in 1998, I’ve had the opportunity to work in multiple districts, both in teaching and administrative roles, and I can confidently say that our high schools are truly special.

What makes our schools exceptional is the people. We have incredible students who show up every day ready to learn, grow, and make a difference. Our dedicated staff go above and beyond to support each student academically, socially, and emotionally. And we are fortunate to be part of a strong, supportive community that values education and partners with us in preparing students for the future.

At Wildcat Academy, we are committed to equipping our students to become lifelong learners and contributing members of society. Whether it’s through academics, activities, or service, we aim to provide opportunities for students to discover their strengths and build the skills they need to succeed beyond high school.

Thank you for being a part of the Wildcat Academy family.

Sincerely,
Jeromy Swearingen, Principal

915 N. Westview Drive | Mulvane, Kansas 67110 | 316-777-2022 | FAX: 316-777-4967

My name is Colin Cathey, and I am thrilled to serve as the Principal of Wildcat Academy Middle School. With 26 years of experience in education across various roles, I started my journey as a math teacher and coach. After spending a decade in the classroom, I transitioned into administration, taking on positions as an athletic director and assistant principal for three years. I then dedicated ten years to the Topeka West High School community in Topeka, KS, first as the associate principal and later as the building principal for one year. As I embark on my fourth year with the Mulvane Community, I arrive each day with a strong commitment to inspiring all students to strive for their best and ensuring that every student achieves success.

Thank you for being a part of the Wildcat Academy family.

Sincerely,
Colin Cathey, Principal
