Jamie Monroe

Hello! My name is Jamie Monroe, and I am truly excited and grateful for the opportunity to work with the students, families, and staff at Mulvane Grade School. It is a privilege to be part of a school community that is committed to helping every student feel supported, valued, and capable of success.

I have had the pleasure of serving as the PBIS Teacher at Mulvane Grade School since 2023. In this role, I have had the opportunity to work closely with students across the building, helping them develop positive behaviors, social-emotional skills, and strategies that support both their academic and personal growth. Building positive relationships with students is at the heart of what I do, and I believe that every child deserves to have an adult in their corner who believes in them and celebrates their progress.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in General Education for grades K–6 and Special Education for Birth–Grade 3. I also earned a master’s degree in Special Education for grades K–12. My educational background, combined with my experience in special education and PBIS, has strengthened my commitment to creating supportive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environments where students can thrive.

I am passionate about helping students recognize their strengths, overcome challenges, and develop the confidence and skills they need to be successful. I believe that positive relationships, consistency, compassion, and high expectations can make a meaningful difference in a child’s school experience.

I am looking forward to another wonderful year at Mulvane Grade School and am excited to continue building relationships, supporting students, collaborating with families and staff, and making a positive difference in the lives of our students. I am honored to be a part of the Mulvane community and look forward to all that this school year will bring!
